I'm assuming the extra exclamation point was intentional

So I finally watched the first episodes subbed on K-ON!!. Only once I actually watched the raw, which was like four hours ago, did I realize that to distinguish it from the first season they added an extra exclamation point. My memory isn't the best regarding the manga, but I'm pretty sure they skipped some stuff, pretty much the rest of the stuff that happened in their second year and it started off with the girls in their third year (Azusa in second). From the previews it looks like they're going to find Sawako-sensei's old guitar and go through that chapter. I don't remember where that chapter was sequentially, but I do remember reading it.

Right now I can't really say if it is going to live up to my expectations, although for some reason I feel like Kyoto Animation is, because the first season was such a success, trying to do too much with the second season, which might ruin it. One such is the new OP and ED

New OP

New ED.

Compared to the OP and ED of season 1.

OP

ED

The new OP is just...I mean, I guess it does somewhat go with the tone of the show, but it's so chipmunky. And way too much CGI. But there is Azu-nyan. Although some of the scenes were from the first season, which I found funny. And then the ED I liked. That's probably because I love Hikasa Yoko's voice though, but it has a good beat to it too. Nowhere near as amazing as 'Don't say Lazy', but like anyone would expect it to be as amazing as that. Nice animation on both though. And yet again the ED has awesome outfits. Now if I ever get a chance to cosplay I'm going to have to add Mugi's ED outfit.

And since I'm on the subject of OP and ED, the new FMA: B OP.

Someone has been having fun with this series making the OP's have as many spoilers as you can fit into a minute and a half. Initially I wasn't overly fond of it, but when you think about what's left to come and it makes sense. And past this point there may be some possible minor spoilers. But seriously? Yeah, I totally couldn't figure out who the sacrifices are going to be. Or that Greed!Ling was finally going to turn into full fledged Greed!Ling, or the fight between Scar and Wrath. Or, although it might be difficult to understand unless you've kept up with the manga, LARGERSPOILER....Roy's eye angst pointing towards the fact he loses his sight....ENDSPOILER.

And now I have to study. I'm pretty much screwed for tomorrow with two tests back to back, but I need to try. I need to at least memorize the online questions and sample problems for o-chem so I can get at least a C, and Japanese I need to at least memorize my practice writing, because that's exactly what the writing portion is going to be.
