| Labs are the work of the devil. Or the cast of High School Musical |
![]() Speaking of that, last weekend I pigged out so badly. First time we went on Friday night I had two root beers, a funnel cake and a chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick. Then we went back the next day I had curly cheese fries, a chocolate crepe with strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate drizzled all over it, some fudge and part of a caramel apple, which various shorts of chocolate on it of course. I finished that off with yet another root beer and some lemonade. They have a stand that has homemade root beer so that's probably why I got so much, normally I don't drink it too often. I have no immediate homework since I just had a math test yesterday. Maybe I should finish the thing for MCB lab. That's even worse than chem lab, as I'm sure I said before it has absolutely nothing to do with the actual lecture, it's just counting stuff on the computer. Maybe I should update the rest of this website, I noticed a lot of it is out of date information. Of course first I need to call Janelle and wish her a happy birthday as I told her I would on Facebook. Hopefully because I gave her the advanced warning she'll pick up. |

| Ohhhh, ahhh, umm... |
|
Yay, my blog is back up!! I can't really think what to write at the moment, but I'm going to write stuff down anyway because I should be finishing my lab report for chem lab but I don't want to!!!! It looks as if the last post was after first day of college. I finished my first semester, it went by fast, although finals were a bit much. Now I'm a couple weeks into second semester. I think I preferred the way my schedule was laid out last semester, although now I only have one class on Mondays at noon. If I didn't have stupid labs then I'd only have on class Wed. Fri. too. How I hate lab. I was expecting chem lab to be better than bio lab, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And MCB 182 lab is possibly worse than 181 last semester. All we do is play computer games, and this semester I don't have Anne and Joanna to complain about how boring it is. My lab partners this semester haven't even taken a MCB lab, which I really don't get. Especially for one of them, she's a pre-pharmacy major like me yet she didn't take 181 lab. You're required to take labs with all sciences for that particular major. I have it on a Friday at 8 in the morning, it sucks since I can barely function that early in the morning. Math is kind of better this semester. Way harder, I don't get calculus at all. In fact, first test was today, there was one question I was about eighty percent sure on and everything else I just tried to figure it out. Pretty sure I bombed it. But the teacher is a hell of a lot better at teaching, and I can actually understand him. It's funny, last semester all my professors were female and this semester they're all male. No matter. Although I really do miss Bio last semester, for some reason 182 has three guys teaching it and the one right now is so damn boring. He just rambles on about nothing too important. Dr. Jorstad was way better, the class was hard as hell but I learned a lot. Oh wow it's already 1 in the morning. I don't have class until noon tomorrow, Mythology, but it's five hours straight of class with that and then chem lab. I really need to get the report done, all I have left is the discussion but that actually requires thought and it's just not something I feel like doing right now. I'm just going to finish this off with saying one thing and elaborating on it. IT SNOWED. Yes, it snowed in Tucson, in the city. There was a good couple inches of snow in the desert!! Unfortunately it was at 2 in the morning yesterday and I was sleeping. Apparently there were a bunch of people in the parking lot grabbing snow off the cars and having a snowball fight, or so my roommate says. So damn, I missed it. I was so excited about snow but it was all gone by time the sun came up. Just thought of that. I got a new roommate, and yay to that. My old one was a complete bitch, inconsiderate and just as annoying as hell. She found a room in the dorm that was empty and got it with her friend. Fine with me. It was right before my birthday too (I turned 19, didn't say anything about that) and was a great birthday present. So I had a room all to myself for the rest of fall semester and then the first week or so of spring semester. Then I got a new roommate. She's not that bad, she's stays with her boyfriend at a frat house a lot of the time so she isn't usually here at night. She's a lot nicer and a lot more considerate, although she's a sophomore. Guess that doesn't make much difference. I'm going to go to bed now though, so yeah. |

| I finished my first day of college |
| Yeah, I finished my first day of college. To start from the beginning, I moved in Friday, it was murder getting everything up and in it's place. The rest of my stuff came the next day with my aunt and grandma. And then they left Sunday, my mom and grandma, and I kind of broke down for a few hours. But I'm better now. Hated getting up early, up at 7:50 to get to the CatTran on time. Then my first class, which is like Human and Animal Relationships From Domestic to Present, or something like that. I can never really remember what it's called, it's a long name. But the class is pretty big, it's in an auditorium. But it's a TRAD class, everyone in the university has to take a tier one class at some point, so they have to be pretty big. It seems interesting though. Then I had math in the afternoon. Huffed it up 4 flights of stairs. It's a pretty small class, maybe 30 at the most. I made friends with the person sitting next to me, Margo, she doesn't have a roommate and mine is often doing other stuff, so we're probably going to hang out sometime. And that was all the classes I had today, two. Tomorrow I have two more, MCB, and English. And that's it, plus the lab on Friday for MCB. Hopefully tomorrow will be alright. If it's as nice as it was today I might walk tomorrow, for my afternoon class at least. I don't want to miss English, since it's at 8. But the weather was great today. Down poured around noonish, a bit before. My roomie got caught in it halfway back to the dorm, she was soaked as well as her leather bag. After that it was a nice drizzle the rest of the day, 79 in the afternoon with a breeze. So college life is boring, but hopefully it'll get better. The dorm is going to Coldstone tomorrow for ice cream, then Thursday we're getting free subs, can't remember what the place is called. I also really want to go to Which Wich, but it's so far away, I don't want to walk all that way alone, and then eat alone. |

| There's so much going on in my life, yet to little |
|
I'm assuming it's been awhile, since I haven't had my computer for awhile. Last month, while using my laptop one day, the stupid cord, the little metal part that goes into the computer, completely snapped off the rest of it, making it useless. And my battery was pretty much completely shot, so I had no power in my computer. And I ordered a new battery and charger, which cost me 120 bucks, and I waited. My grandma let me use her computer sometimes, but I didn't want to go on here on her computer. Yeah, so then it eventually comes in, and the stupid cord works for four days. I plug it in one day and nothing. It won't work. So I had to send it back. That took forever, about 2 weeks from when I sent it to get it back. Yeah, but now it's back, and I can use my computer. So I'm updated. However, go figure the day before the cord comes in it turns out my grandpa ran out to Wal-Mart and bought me a computer that was crazy cheap. My one issue with it is that it has Windows Vista, and I'm not too fond of Vista. My old one is XP. Vista just gets annoying, but I won't complain too much, a new computer is a new computer. And yeah...I move into my dorm and start college in less than a month. Kind of excited. I've gotten in contact with my roommate, she seems pretty nice. When I first saw what she looked like I was a bit nervous- a skinny blond, definitely looks like one of those popular ones. Definitely not my type, I don't think I've ever had a skinny blond as a friend, they seem to hate my kind. But she seems pretty cool, so I hope things work out. My room has so much crap in it for my dorm. I have no room in my room to do anything, there's my bed, and then a walkway maybe a foot and a half wide to get out of my room. Of course, I've never had the entire room, my cousin's crap covers half of it. And now I have dorm stuff covering around 12 square feet of my room, maybe a bit more, and the pile of stuff is at least 4 feet tall, and I'm not exaggerating. I've been having the urge to go see Mama Mia! again. I went to see it opening day, and, although it was very enjoyable, it didn't wow me like other movies. But after giving it about a week or so my urge to see it has come again, I'm somewhat tempted to go again. Not that I'd really going for Pierce Brosnan's singing again, I don't really see why they cast him for a musical, but the overall storyline was good, and Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried were amazing. I didn't think they could sing. But I guess I'd have to expect as much from the great Meryl Streep. And Amanda was better in this than she was in Mean Girls, which I can't stand, mostly because of Lindsay Lohan. And I'm so sick of my stupid mouth. I don't know what the deal it, but my mouth has been hurting. A couple weeks ago it was hurting everyday, then it went away, and then last Monday it started up again. It was so bad I was tearing, I couldn't prevent it. Luckily it went away after about a half hour. Then last night around 10 it started, first not too bad, but it flared up fast. So within a five hour period I took two ibuprofen, two tylenol, and a vicodin, and by three thirty it went away, so I managed to fall asleep by four. I have a dentist appointment on Monday just for cleaning, but they're going to take some x-rays to see if there is anything wrong. However, I don't think they'll find anything. Especially last night, it felt as if it was more in my jaw, below my mouth. And it's weird, it's only on my left side when it comes, switching from bottom to top. I just hope this is all resolved before I go off to school. |

| I'm feeling so relieved and good right now |
| It's late, but for some reason I seem to do my best thinking and such at night. I just finished posting an extremely long blog on my Myspace, and I feel so relieved right now, so much better. There would be no point on posting it here, since it was mostly directed my friends. But just writing it down, I feel so good for some reason, I don't know why. It could be because of how I've come to appreciate them all, or how, after looking back, I've realized how great they all have been through high school. Even though I won't see most of them again, since we're all starting college in August. Oh well, it's nice to enjoy them and have them while I can. |

| Life goes on |
|
So, guess what? I graduated! Yep, I have officially graduated from high school. I did last Tuesday, but I haven't updated since then. However, the day kind of sucked. First, I had to go in early for practice graduation, so I was up before 7, which shouldn't have happened, since I was already off of school. And that kind of sucked. No, it just totally sucked, I won't get into details. Then I got my hair done, that was fine. It was actually nice, I've been wanting to get my hair cut for SO long. And I finally decided to revert back to bangs, which I haven't had since 5th grade. It was a good choice, my hair stylist Erin did a really good job, it looks loads better than my hair did before. But then there was actual graduation. We're outside, they force us to wait outside until 25 minutes until the ceremony is supposed to start, and it is so hot outside! And my eye was bugging me, I had an eyelash in it, but I'll get into more detail about my eye in a bit. So we finally get in, and it's really hot in the Sundome too! Plus we have our stupid gowns on. All of my friends, since they were in band, were on the East side, and I was on the West side, with a bunch of idiots. Yeah, so we go in, it just sucked. I was between these two idiots. We had to go boy girl boy girl, but during both practice and the actual thing, I was between these two idiots. The one on my right kept making very rude comments during the top 1% speeches, and to the fact I'm friends with practically all of them...it just really pissed me off. I was extremely happy when the ceremony was over, because my head was throbbing, and I was overheated. Then my parents were going to force me to go out, but luckily I was with my grandparents, and they could see how much pain I was in, so we went home and I went to sleep. That was a weird sleep schedule that day. And then, a couple days later when I was going to put my diploma in the holder, I found out I didn't even get it! They can't figure out how to spell my middle name apparently, and misspelled it, so they're sending me one in July. Yeah, it was just crap. Then my eye. Even though I got the eyelash out of my eye, it didn't help. It was still very red and painful the next day, so I had to take my contacts out, but it took a few days for my eye to get back to normal. I still haven't bothered to put them back in, I will tomorrow. I'm going to try and stay in contact with friends, at least throughout the summer. I'm going to see a Kung-Fu Panda with Janelle and others Sunday. Oh, and I got my red w/ brown stripe belt. I don't know if I said that before. But I'm really close to brown belt, I think I'll be able to get it in the fall. Since spring testing in tomorrow, and I doubt I'm ready. I know I'm not, I still don't know all the one steps. |

| It's been awhile since I've updated this |
| I guess it has been a very long time since this was updated. Don't know where the time has gone, although it seems as if it's been ages since Europe. Well, I hurt my wrist, so I'll just say a bit. School is almost over, 8 school days left, then graduation is the 27th, excited. Happy I'm guaranteed housing next year for UA, but I still don't know what my assignment is. I wish I knew if I got the dorm I wanted or not, hopefully. I'm pretty much one AP test away from being done with doing anything big in my classes. AP Bio I have no clue what we'll be doing, I guess we have to do our final in pre-cal, AP English we're just reading a play. AP Gov we're going to be working on our videos for our interest group. Orchestra, concert Tuesday, then nothing more on that. Though I guess we'll still practice for graduation, but I don't have to play Pomp and Circumstance this year, YAY! Oh, and great news!! My English teacher, Ms. Aikman, she's getting married, in October. Abby talked her into letting us, meaning the orchestra kids in her class, Janelle, Abby, Rebbecca and myself, along with Donald, although he doesn't have her, to audition to play at her wedding. We got it! So in October I have to come back up to play for her wedding on the 4th. I'm so happy, because I get to play for something, and also because I get to see those guys again, since I don't think I'll be seeing them after school is over. Well, that's enough for now. |
