Pei Wei whores can be good at biology too!

What a turn around! This morning I was just in a foul mood, I felt so badly the need to just call it quits with everything. But now I'm much better! I was freaking out the entire time about the biology test, but when I finally got to it I calmed down big time. I kicked that test's ass big time, it was absolutely nothing compared to Jorstad's 181 tests. Now those, those were something to cry about. I probably at least a mid B if not higher, the only ones I wasn't really sure on were the allele frequency questions, but there were only three.

Speaking of biology, I don't know if it's possible for an anime lover to do anything biology without typos. Last night I had to write up something to send to my lab partners about the similarities in amino acid sequences between chloroplasts and bacteria and I kept messing up. For the first page I kept typing anime instead of amino, and then I finally got to animo, some strange twisted combination of the words. As I type amino in there I keep spelling animo first.

I'm wondering what's up with my roommate. She actually slept here last night, she usually stays with her boyfriend at the frat house. I don't know if she went to any classes today. She apparently has class Tuesdays and Thursdays the same time as me, 9:30, but when I left today at nine to go to class she had just barely woken up. When I got back from class she came in after me probably not much more than a minute later. I have my bike so it takes me about the third of the time of walking, and she has to walk, so I'm assuming she didn't go to class but elsewhere, don't know where. Then when I got back this afternoon from class she was sleeping, which she'll still doing. Normally she doesn't get back to the dorm until a half hour after I do. She should have a class at five so we'll see.

I got delicious Pei Wei for dinner and I might go to Cold Stone to get some ice cream a bit later. Just have to get through my bio lab, which I do dread but will be doable, and my mythology lecture, which goes by pretty quickly, and then I'm done for the week. I will do any homework that I might have to go over the weekend tomorrow afternoon, get into bed early, and then Saturday morning my mother will be here to pick me up to go to the Renaissance Festival!!! Plus I get to see all my pets, especially Rosco. I can't wait until I can get an apartment down here so he can come live with me. He's so attached to me, it's pretty obvious I'm his owner. I always cruelly give my brother snide comments that the reason my cat is still alive if because I actually take care of it. True, although Nick really couldn't have done anything about Tuffy's kidney failure. I saw him two days before he died and he was acting like his natural self.

That title makes no sense, but it just suddenly came to me. Probably because I'm rather blah at the moment. Luckily chem lab ended a couple hours early today, and no report due next week, yay!! My Tueday nights/Wednesday mornings are always filled trying to finish the stupid thing. This week has been really hectic though. I don't know what the hell happened, suddenly yesterday I was bombarded with tons of stuff. I still need to finish studying for my bio test tomorrow, that's the first thing I need to do, have to get masteringchemistry done by Friday and I haven't even started, need to do the stupid smell the cactus thing for bio lab and tonight I have to meet with my lab partner for it to do our report from last week's lab. I should be leaving soon to meet them actually. That's my top priority stuff right now I guess. I need to read two chapters for mythology, plus do two sections for math tomorrow. I'm sure I'm forgetting something at the moment, oh well. Then for stuff due next week I need to try and get it done Friday afternoon, because I don't want to do any homework this weekend. No way I want to ruin the Renaissance festival by worrying about homework I need to do.

I'm really psyched about going. I know I've gone before, but still. It's the most amazing event of the year. I'd say I'm about 1/3 as excited about it as I was going to Europe, although with Europe there were other factors, such as being anxious and slightly scared. But that was silly, because it was amazing. Maybe I'll post some pictures up here at some point, even though it's been almost a year since that amazing week.

Alright, I need to get going to meet my partners for that stupid write-up. It's going to take longer because I'm walking, don't want to take my bike out and lose my spot in the racks.

Saturday is going to be tiring.

On one of my mother's phone calls today she told be some news, which could be considered bad. People are assholes at her work, obviously that's well known already, but she has to work late of Friday and nobody would switch with her so that she could come pick me up from school. Instead she's going be on the road at 5 in the morning so she can be here around 7. I have to then be up and ready to leave right when she gets here. I'm never up at 7, even on weekdays. The earliest I ever get up for class in 7:05, because I feel the five extra minutes might help me get through bio lab a bit better. Then we have to drive back up to Glendale, getting breakfast at some point, and I'm assuming dropping my stuff off at the house and getting my brother and father then heading the Renaissance Festival. If everything goes as planned we should get there right when it opens at ten. Then spend the entire day will be spent there, rain or shine. I told her that, because a couple years ago, as I said before, it started to rain pretty heavily and we left. I'm not going to miss any of the Renaissance festival this year. If they can still go on then so will I. The rain doesn't bother me. I went up on the Eiffel Tower when it was rainy and windy, I went on a boat for an hour on the Seine that same night. I went running around all through Rome with a varying rain all day long without use of an umbrella in any of them. A little rain does not bug me, it's a much needed thing in Arizona. I'm then assuming we'll leave and go have dinner, then I'll have the night to play with my cat, along with the other cats and my brother's spastic puppy. I told her that I don't care if we head out later on Sunday to bring me back, that way they can treat me to dinner.

The purpose of the icon on this post is really just a mental thought thing. I have so much homework/studying to do these next few days.

Edit: Finished watching House just now. It was interesting, there was a lot of emphasis on relationships. I wish foreteen (Foreman x Thirteen) would end already! It looked so hopeful but then at the end they reveal that they're break up was all a lie to get House off their back. And it's so obvious that Cuddy wants to be with House, but I think that when they together it might ruin the show just a bit. It's kind of like with Bones, once Brennan and Booth get together the show is just going to lose it, because that tension between them would disappear.

Can I make it through the week? Unknown.
Looking forward icon
Renaissance festival is next Saturday. I just have to get through three days of mythology, two days of math, chem and biology and both labs. That includes two tests this week, plus I have to begin and finish my chem lab write up and do some stupid smell the cactus thing for bio lab and meet with my bio lab group to do a write up for that. I think once I get past chem lab on Wednesday I should be alright, let's hope. Just have to keep my hopes up, because almost nothing beats the Renaissance festival. Actually, I lie. NOTHING beats it. The Chocolate Affaire comes in a close second, but when it comes to going to the Renaissance festival I'm in heaven, I love it. Everything about it I love.

I guess I'm done with Sailor Moon for the night, either the stream is being stupid right now or my internet is. I'd put the bet on my internet. So far I'm on episode 22/200. I'm sure I'll get to the end, eventually. I mean, there is an end, unlike One Piece. Since it went off Cartoon Network I don't bother to try to watch it anymore. Right now it's at three hundred something episodes and still going. I don't feel like watching all of what I've already watched but subbed instead. I think after Sailor Moon I'll try Scrapped Princess, I saw a bit of it on the live stream the other day and it looked interesting. There was also another one I saw on live but I didn't catch the name of it before it went off.

I should probably study for my mythology quiz tomorrow, although it won't be that difficult. I got 100% on the last one, and now that we're getting into more interesting stuff I retain the information better. Somehow I managed to get in a hour and a half of bio studying in for the test Thursday. It was brutal. I can't get through that class without nearly falling asleep, and apparently I can't study for it without nearly falling asleep either. I would have gone to lie down but it was getting late-ish and I wanted to finish the section I was on before I went to get dinner. I really don't like Subway that much, but they have any five dollar footlongs right now so it was cheap. I should have gone to Cold Stone too, it's right next door to it and I have a gift card. Tomorrow possibly. Silver Mine Subs would have been my preferred dinner, but they're a bit more expensive and I'd have to get it delivered, so it would end up costing me twice as much as Subway. Seriously though, the quality is way better than Subway, I love Silver Mine. I don't know what people who go to NAU do, because there's one down here and there's one in Tempe, but none in NAU. I don't really get how they get any food delivered really. When I went up there in November to visit friends I wondered about it, because all the dorms you have to walk quite a distance from where you can park to get to them, in a very woodsy area. I wouldn't want to deliver something up there at 3 in the morning. There's probably nothing if Flagstaff that actually is open that late. I really don't see why so many people from high school went to school up there.

A supposed day of love and the damn Jonas Brothers? Hell no.
Mwuahaha icon
Valentine's Day, how annoying. All day there was nothing but Valentine's Day specials of shows and movies. I actually ended up just listening to music most of the day, I found a few more songs my Olivia Lufkin that I find amazing. Everything was for the most part fine today, but then my roommate came back after I'm assuming spending the day with her boyfriend. She immediately gets on the phone and starts arguing with him. I'm really not sure what the issue was, apparently he got angry because she asked if he wanted to go out to eat or something, because they wouldn't have enough time. I just caught brief parts of what she was saying. I'm then going to assume that he said something bad which made her cry. She was outright crying, she did it twice, for about five minutes each time. Then I do believe she was nearly begging him to let her come over tomorrow to study with him and blah blah blah. He then called later and she told him he didn't need to apologize and that it was her fault. From what I heard earlier it sounded as if it was his fault for overreacting. Whatever, she went out now with some of her friends. I really don't get the whole relationship thing. I've never been in a relationship. The one person I thought I might be able to have a good one with I never said anything to him because I didn't want to mess up our friendship. It really is stupid though. From what I've seen all you do when you're in a relationship is fight. What really is pathetic is that they continue to do it. If it were me I wouldn't put up with any guys crap, if he would want to fight then he could go do it with someone else.

I can't believe that SNL has made such a horrible horrible choice in their musical guest for the week. Jonas Brothers? HELL NO! First off, anyone who watches SNL who also likes the Jonas Brothers is pretty pathetic. The show isn't exactly for kids. Them on SNL is like Jesse McCartney playing Zuko, which thankfully he no longer is doing. I bet their case is actually what Jesse McCartney's case probably was, they paid to be the musical guests on the show. Nobody who wasn't completely high would put them on it. They don't belong, if the show wasn't over there I'd fly to New York and stone them! When the show initially started I was thinking at least they're only going to be on twice. But no, wrong. Instead they're put in some of the skits. Way to ruin SNL even more. Even Alec Baldwin cannot salvage the show this week, even with Cameron Diaz making an appearance, it's completely screwed this week. No, you know what, I think instead of stoning those idiot brother I would put my plans for their death into motion, I would steal two of their Gogurts. Since nobody but my brother knows about my idea on how they'll die I'll elaborate:

By taking away two of their Gogurts from the fridge it will cause them to begin to accuse each other that one of them ate the others' Gogurts. Eventually it would get very bloody, but just before they finish each other off Miley Cyrus would somehow find her way into the room and be killed, although at the moment I forget how she is killed. It's by one of them, but I can't remember what they did, it's something really odd. Anyway, they all kill each other off, and then two of the evils that are ruining today's music are gone! Don't ask me how I came up with that idea, I think a commercial for Gogurt might have come on and...yeah I really don't know. But if it happened how funny it would be.

I officially hate biology
Olivier! icon
I have decided that I officially hate biology. I've never been very fond of biology , but I've tolerated it. However, today any truce that biology and I had if officially over. In lab today we were doing stuff, what it was isn't really important, I can't even remember most of it. Anyway, the TA said they had rabbits and was going to bring them out. I thought he meant live rabbits, which I thought would be cute. However, I was dead wrong when he set down a dead rabbit who was cut open beside me. Even when it was in the bag I started to hack a little. When it was taken out of the bag and people were starting to look through its intestine for the c-something, what it uses to get nutrients from its food, I nearly threw up. I had to turn away the entire time, and then for the next hour and a half I felt completely queasy. Poor rabbit. Then a bit later we looked at a cow's stomachs, I didn't even bother to go up to them to touch. That probably would have fully induced vomiting. But now I'm out of horrible lab, got out about 45 minutes early. I don't care if its lecture of lab, I hate biology from now on. Chemistry is definitely my science.

I'm slightly disgusted with my color choice
Calm/mellow icon
I finally found a wallpaper of Anya from Code Geass and just had to use it. I had been using a Lelouch/C.C. one before that, which I had also been trying to find for a month as a wallpaper since I saw the picture. But the wallpaper has a black background and almost everything else is pink, for obvious reasons. So I felt my computer didn't match well, so I changed the color scheme to pink. I really don't like pink that much, but it looks so nice with the wallpaper.
